We have always felt close to the quieter side of a Lake Balaton holiday, with attentive and caring hospitality. This approach is reflected in our new name. Therefore, from December 2025, our family-friendly small hotel, formerly Platán Hotel, has been renamed Platán Garden & Rooms.

The name change does not signal a new direction, but rather expresses more precisely who we truly are. Platán evokes the calm and timeless atmosphere of our old plane trees. Garden represents the friendly, nature-oriented environment: a carefully tended green garden where it is truly pleasant to relax. Rooms refers to our well-equipped rooms with garden access and private terraces, designed to provide comfortable relaxation.

Valid from 24 April to 2 July 2026, and from 6 September to 4 October 2026.

A private, secured parking area is available in the courtyard for our guests, free of charge. Each room is allocated one parking space. The shore of Lake Balaton is within a short walking distance, so you can leave your car in the courtyard and freely explore Zamárdi’s hidden gems.
