Early check-in or late check-out is possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability. After check-out, if the room has been vacated, the garden and pool may still be used.

If you arrive earlier than planned, we can securely store your luggage at reception until your room is ready.

If you arrive late in the evening, please let us know in advance so we can arrange key handover and parking.

We handle all late check-ins flexibly and, whenever possible, welcome our guests personally.

All rooms are air-conditioned and come with a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and minibar. Ground-floor rooms have a private terrace with direct access to the garden.
Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and all indoor communal areas.

• Daily cleaning between 9:00 and 13:00.
• Towel and linen changes on request, automatically for longer stays.
• Extra pillows, blankets, or an iron are available at reception.

Room rates always include a generous buffet breakfast, which can be enjoyed on the garden-facing terrace in good weather.

If you have food sensitivities, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to provide alternatives.

Platán Garden & Rooms does not have its own restaurant, but several excellent bistros, restaurants, and cafés are within a few minutes’ walk. Our reception team is happy to provide local recommendations.

The outdoor pool and sun terrace are available free of charge for our guests. Children under 12 may only use the pool under parental supervision. Opening Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, from 1 June to 31 August 2026.

 The Finnish sauna is available by prior booking for an additional fee. Towels and water are provided for sauna use.

The cycling route around Lake Balaton passes through Zamárdi. Bike rentals are available at reception – for half or full days, including a helmet, bike lock, and child seat.

• Tihany Ferry Port (3.5 km)
• Szántódpuszta Open-Air Museum (5 km)
• Zamárdi Adventure Park (2 km)

Platán Garden & Rooms is a child-friendly accommodation.

• Family rooms are spacious, and the garden features a mini playground, sandbox, and ping-pong table.
• A baby-kit is available for the little ones, including a crib, high chair, baby bath, and step stool.
• Accommodation is free for children under 3 years old.

Four-legged family members are also welcome. A maximum of two pets per room is allowed.

Important information:

• Leashes must be used at all times.
• Pets should not be left unattended.
• The pool, playground, and breakfast area are not accessible for dogs.
• Guests can use the Mirabella Camping dog beach free of charge, which has a fenced-off section.

Bookings are made through our website with secure online payment and are confirmed once the deposit is paid.

• Deposit: 50–100%, depending on the rate type.
• Payment: by credit card or debit card.
• Remaining balance: payable at reception upon arrival.
• Cancellation: free up to 14 days before arrival; within 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable.
• Refund: within 5 business days to a credit card payments.
