Platán Garden & Rooms – In the heart of Zamárdi

Platán Garden & Rooms is a family-friendly hotel in Zamárdi with a total of 16 rooms, located a two-minute walk from the shore of Lake Balaton. Cleanliness, tidiness, and thorough care are the foundations on which we build the guest experience. The quiet surroundings, comfortable rooms and carefully tended garden all serve to ensure that your stay with us is truly relaxing.

A well known hotel with a new name

Platán Garden & Rooms previously operated as Platán Hotel and has been one of Zamárdi’s most popular places to relax for many years. In 2025 it received a new name and visual identity, although the change is not about the place itself but about the approach. Our aim was to express more clearly what Platán stands for today, a clean, organised, human scale hotel where everything is centred around the guests.

The name “Garden & Rooms” was inspired by the heart of the hotel, the plane trees and the peaceful green garden, as well as the comfortable rooms that promise a good night’s sleep. Day to day the same team, the same care and the same welcoming spirit await every guest, only the name has changed, the attitude has not.

The accommodation is part of the tourism portfolio of Pannova Group and is operated by Club Pannon Camps & Hotels Ltd.
