In the garden, everything is about tranquillity: fresh air, birdsong, blooming plants, a place where you can naturally let go of everyday worries. The pool provides refreshment during the summer months, while the sun loungers surrounding it ensure comfortable relaxation.

It’s a welcoming space from spring to fall, where guests can enjoy the closeness of Lake Balaton, the scent of nature, and the tranquility of the carefully tended surroundings. Time spent in the garden is not only relaxation – it is also true mental regeneration.

For guests of Platán Garden & Rooms, the private Finnish sauna is part of the physical and mental rejuvenation experience and can be used by prior registration. The warmth of the sauna relaxes the body, improves circulation, strengthens the immune system, and helps calm the mind – making it an ideal choice on a cooler evening or as a way to unwind after an active day.

The sauna features a separate relaxation area, where peace and natural light support complete rejuvenation. It’s a perfect shared experience for couples, which guests can combine with the “Sauna days” package or an evening glass of wine in the garden.

The feeling of renewal can also be enhanced with our massage services: classic, relaxing, and aromatherapy massages are available by prior registration, arranged at reception.

Our guests can choose from bicycles of various sizes and types, making both a short trip around Zamárdi or a full-day tour comfortable and convenient.

The Balaton Cycle Route passes just a few minutes from the accommodation, providing easy access to the area’s most beautiful sights:

• Zamárdi – Szántód – Tihany (via ferry): a classic Lake Balaton panoramic route, crossing by ferry to Tihany.
• Zamárdi – Balatonföldvár – Kőröshegy: gentle hills, vineyards, and the famous Kőröshegy viaduct.

At reception, we are happy to provide route suggestions and local tips, so everyone can find their own pace and favourite direction. The enclosed courtyard provides secure storage, so you can relax without any worries.

On rainy days, a pool table at reception provides entertainment, so family fun continues even in bad weather.
The comfort of the youngest guests is ensured with a baby-kit (cot, high chair, baby bath), which can be prepared in the room upon request.

For families, our spacious rooms with bunk beds are also available, designed in every detail to support calm, shared relaxation. Children can play freely in the safe, enclosed courtyard, while parents can truly relax.

Our guests also receive free access to the nearby Mirabella Camping dog-friendly beach, where dogs can freely swim in Lake Balaton.
