In June, the Lake Balaton region turns purple. During this time, Zamárdi and the Kőröshegy Lavender Fields offer one of the most special atmospheres of the season – blooming hillsides and air filled with fragrance. In connection with this experience, Platán Garden & Rooms welcomes guests with a 25% discount when booking a minimum stay of 3 nights. Lavender-related programmes are just a stone’s throw away: easily reachable within minutes by car, or comfortably by bicycle – bikes are available for rent at the accommodation.
The offer is valid for stays between June 5 and July 2, 2026, for bookings made between January 19 and February 28, 2026.
Our spring novelty, the Sauna Days, is all about relaxation for two. From Sunday to Friday, with a minimum stay of two nights, our guests receive a free one hour private sauna session to make their rest truly complete. The green garden, the quiet surroundings and the sauna together create the spring atmosphere of Platán Garden and Rooms, calm, fresh air and time for each other.

At Platán Garden & Rooms we welcome our guests from Sunday to Friday with more favourable prices, along with the same attentiveness, comfort and generous breakfast as at weekends. Fewer guests, quieter beaches, a calmer town, Lake Balaton is especially enjoyable at this time.

At Platán Garden & Rooms every member of the family belongs to a relaxing stay, including the four legged ones. We warmly welcome dogs, cats and even rabbits, because with us pets are guests too. A maximum of two pets can be brought into one room, and in the spacious, shaded garden they can rest comfortably while their owners unwind by the pool. Our guests receive free entry to the Mirabella Camping dog-friendly beach, because the Balaton experience is best enjoyed together with them.

“Two very pleasant days on the shores of Lake Balaton. The hotel is quiet and the surroundings are beautiful – it was a real discovery. There are several restaurants and bars 300 meters from the hotel, close to the lake. We especially recommend the pike-perch fillet at Hausmann Restaurant.”
