• Double room with garden access: with two separate single beds and a terrace.
• Triple room with a terrace: with one double bed and one separate single bed.
• Family room with a terrace: with one double bed and one bunk bed.

What you’ll find in every room

For a comfortable stay, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. Fresh bed linen and soft towels are provided upon arrival, while hairdryers are also available in the bathrooms.

Dining tailored to your team’s programme

At Platán Garden & Rooms, we offer our guests a generous buffet breakfast, while for the rest of the day, we recommend the excellent selection of restaurants in the surrounding area.

The buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know when making your booking, and we will arrange a sugar-free, gluten-free or dairy-free breakfast. Lunch and dinner can be arranged in advance at nearby restaurants and can be flexibly tailored to your team’s programme.

Sample two-day team-building programme at Platán Garden & Rooms

For a team of up to 20 people, different priorities come into focus: there is no need for a large-scale conference programme, but rather for a well-organised, personal and meaningful experience together. We have put together the following two-day sample programme specifically to meet the needs of small businesses, management teams and smaller corporate groups.

The programme can be flexibly adapted to your team’s objectives, making it equally suitable for a management strategy day, a professional workshop or a team-building programme.

Day one

• arrival and parking in the enclosed courtyard;
• training or a strategic workshop in the naturally lit private meeting room for approximately 20 people;
• coffee break in the garden;
• a guided or self-guided team cycling activity in Zamárdi, with bicycles available to rent at reception;
• a group dinner at a nearby restaurant arranged in advance;
• private sauna session or a massage booked in advance.

Day two

• a buffet breakfast enjoyed together;
• a short planning session;
• a closing discussion in the garden;
• check-out by 10:00;
• optional activities in Zamárdi.

Zamárdi and the Lake Balaton area offer a wide range of additional experiences. These include an adventure park, water sports, cycling tours and excursions. It is easy to find an additional activity to make your team-building experience truly memorable.

What group activities are available in Zamárdi and the surrounding area?

• Forgó Zamárdiring Go-Kart Track: An experience-based team-building activity that encourages a competitive spirit, teamwork and shared experiences.
• Zamárdi Adventure Park: Team-building activities, rope courses and obstacles offer an adrenaline-filled experience near Zamárdi Felső railway station.
• Zamárdi Sailing Marina: Enjoy a sailing experience on Lake Balaton with an experienced skipper. The sailing club is located at the marina, just a 5-minute drive from the accommodation.
• Ferry trip to Tihany: Regular ferries depart from the Szántód ferry terminal, close to the accommodation, taking you to the northern shore. The Tihany Peninsula offers opportunities for hiking, visiting Tihany Abbey and exploring its charming little streets.
• Paintball: A paintball field awaits teams on the site of a former riding school along Route 7, towards Siófok.
• Kőhegyi Lookout Tower: If you are looking for a shorter activity, it is well worth walking up to Kőhegy, where you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Balaton.
